Rob*, who is supported at Levitt Mill and Barn, passed his Diploma Level One in Construction in 2012. Rob’s achievement has spurred him on to register for a further qualification, Level 2 Diploma in Joinery.

Rob said: “I am really proud of what I have achieved so far. I really enjoy going to college and I haven’t missed a day of training since I started the course. Attending routine lessons and working in a hands-on environment has helped me to channel some of my aggression and emotions."

After several set-backs in his life, Rob, who has Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) and Impulsive Explosive Disorder (IED) has progressed in his care pathway to be able to attend college full-time. His course structure included one-to-one sessions to ensure support was provided to help Rob to achieve his diploma. The Craegmoor ethos encouraged and supported Rob to get involved in leisure activities and where possible, educational ventures, in the local community.

The Craegmoor team at Levitt Mill and Barn are all very proud of Rob and of his achievements at college, where we have seen him flourish throughout his course. Rob has a fantastic support network around him and Levitt Mill and Barn encourages all the individuals supported to live as independently as possible.
