Specific Duties Include:
• Assists with the assessment of Service User needs and plans, delivers and evaluates individual care / support / treatment plans in consultation with Service Users, their relatives and the Care Team.
• Conducts risk assessments.
• Assists with staff scheduling to ensure adequate people are available to meet requirements.
• Supervises all activities and promotes high standards in all service aspects.
• Ensures all activities are carried out in accordance with Craegmoor policies, procedures and practices to meet Statutory, Regulatory, Audit, Compliance and Health, Safety and Security requirements.
• Participates in care staff supervisions and reviews and supports staff to achieve their personal plan objectives. Assists with the induction and orientation of new care staff.
• Plans, arranges and attends meetings with staff, service user’s, relatives as required. These duties are not exhaustive. Job holders may be asked to undertake other responsibilities, within their spheres of responsibility and competence. Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Minimum qualification NVQ 3 in Care. • Basic IT skills. • Nursing Qualification (as applicable to service). • At least 2 year’s experience in a care or support role
