Addison Court

Addison Court is a purpose-built care home covering three floors. The Home provides accommodation for nursing as well as residential, respite and EMI care. All rooms are single with en-suite facilities. The Home has large lounges and dining areas all designed with a friendly, family style atmosphere. The gardens and patio areas offer a relaxing atmosphere and a quiet retreat. Barbeques on sunny days are a great favourite with our residents. Addison Court is set in its own grounds in a quiet location just outside the town centre. The Home is close to all local amenities, including a range of shops, cafes and supermarket and is also on a main bus route.

We have skilled and dedicated staff ensuring the service users every happiness and comfort. On-going staff training provides the best standards of care at all times. GP’s, Dentist, Optician and Chiropodist are available to give support as required. All specific needs are met and reviewed constantly to provide individual care. We aim to help maintain as much independence as possible and ensure that resident’s rights are respected at all times.

Our activities vary from week to week and we are always open to new ideas and suggestions. Visitors are welcome at any time and can even stay for a meal. Newspapers and magazines can be delivered. Religious services are held in the Home by the local church. We use the support of several outside professionals to maximise the care, these include GP’s District Nurses, Opticians, Chiropodist, Dentist and weekly visits by the hairdresser and regular visits by the barber. Many more facilities are available which all help to keep residents happy and content during their stay at Addison Court.
