How to find us

Craig y Trwyn is a Care Home for the elderly and for adults with physical disabilities who also require nursing care in a sensitive and appropriate environment. The Home is situated within the village of Wattsville, surrounded by changing country scenes with pleasant views all year round. It is set in a quiet area within its own grounds and is registered to care for up to 42 residents.

The Home

All accommodation in the Home is light, spacious and airy and the majority of the rooms are single. Although the rooms are furnished, residents may bring their favourite pieces of furniture to personalise their rooms if they so wish. Every effort is taken to maintain the personal dignity of all our residents and to involve both the residents and their families in all aspects of life within the Home.

The Care

Our team of staff are dedicated and skilled in the provision of care of older people. The Home is staffed 24-hours a day by registered General Nurses. In addition staffing is complimented by visiting professionals including GPs, Physiotherapists, Chiropodists, District Nurses. The approach to care is of an holistic nature and each resident’s care is planned individually to meet their needs and requirements in a homely environment.

The Facilities

We offer a variety of visiting services including entertainers and library services with books, slides and educational talks. The Activities Co-ordinator arranges many in-house activities for the residents including bino, word games, painting, drawing and sensory exercises.
