How to find us

The Village is a modern Care Home providing high standards of care for the elderly and is situated in Banks, four miles out of Southport. This Victorian style seaside town lends itself to elderly and disabled visitors.

The Home

The Village was built in 1990 as a Care Home. The Home now provides residential accommodation which is particularly suitable for residents who would prefer to stay in their own rooms, should they require nursing care rather than have to be moved somewhere else. All rooms are dual registered, individually decorated with fitted wardrobes and en-suite facilities. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing small items of furniture and personal belongings.

The Care

At The Village the individual needs of each resident are our primary concern. Our multi-disciplinary team encompasses the district nursing service to compliment our team of nurses for those with nursing needs. A Physiotherapist visits on a day to day basis and other professionals visit by arrangement. By working together as a qualified and committed staff team, we aim to provide high quality care that is all inclusive. The comfort and well-being of our residents is our prime objective.

The Facilities

The Home provides a varied menu with plenty of individual choices. We have an activities programme tailored to suit individual needs which includes musical sessions and trips out in the summer. Some residents enjoy sitting outside or a trip into Southport to do some shopping. Many enjoy watching the many migratory birds which fly in for the winter months. We have an open visiting policy and families and friends are always welcome.
