The Care

The care at Parc Wern is delivered by a dedicated and professional multi-disciplinary team committed to providing quality care. Each resident has an individual care package, specifically planned to reflect their personal needs and choices. A qualified nurse/key worker is assigned to each resident ensuring an holistic approach to individual care and daily fulfilment. Each member of staff is trained to ensure that our residents’ personal dignity is maintained at all times. Parc Wern promotes Craegmoors’ communication strategy called “Your Voice” which ensures that each individual, based on their preferred method of communication, is able to have a voice on how their supported care is provided. Monthly service user meetings are held where individuals are able to represent the views and voices of fellow service users. This is extended to a voice at area, divisional and national level. Parc Wern liaises with families, community organisations, social services departments and purchasing authorities to support Person Centred Care Planning and ensures full account is taken of social, emotional, cultural and spiritual needs of all individuals.
