Jubilee Gardens, a purpose built Care Centre provides 24-hour care for 37 nursing and 13 residential clients with mental health disabilities. We also incorporate a Day Care Centre with 24 placements. The Home is located six miles from Birmingham City Centre and is easily accessible to M6, M42 network.
The Home
Purpose built in 2002 housing 50 residents in the main house. Jubilee Gardens provides spacious accommodation comprising of 50 en-suite bedrooms, communal lounges with TV, Video and Hi- Fi facilities along with several further quiet areas. Rooms are individually furnished and residents are encouraged to bring in their own personal possessions to ensure that home-from-home feeling. The Day Care Centre operates from Monday to Friday and offers recreational facilities including TV, Radio, handicrafts, games and pastimes, activities to assist in overcoming some of the effects of confusion, physical activity to maintain functioning, cooking and re-learning lost self care skills.
The Care
Jubille Gardens dedicated staff team of nurses, carers and auxiliary staff are committed to provide a high standard of care to all residents. Every effort is made to provide everything necessary to fulfil the residents everyday requirements. All residents are respected for their individuality and encourage to maximise their potential. Care is provided in a manner that offers privacy, respect and dignity. All residents are able to exercise maximum choice on matters relating to their daily lives. Qualified nurses are on duty 24-hours a day and are able to cascade knowledge and experience to the team members.
The Facilities
We offer 50 rooms all with en-suite facilities, TV point, nurse call system and ample power points. Residents are able to have a telephone installed if they require and are able to meet the necessary costs. Residents also have access to a pay phone. Services to enhance personal appearance are accessible including in-house hairdressing salon. An adequate, well balanced diet is offered with a choice from the menu. Residents have the choice to dine alone or in a communal dining room. Residents are actively encouraged to participate with daily activities arranged by our full-time co-ordinator with a varied programme.
