At The Willows we provide nursing care and Dementia care for 41 older people. We provide tailored care packages to meet the needs of each individual.

We provide nursing care for 41 older people and we have a specialist unit for people who have Dementia. We provide tailored care packages to meet the needs of each individual. Our dedicated and caring staff team provide 24 hour support in a relaxed and homely atmosphere.

Each person has a comprehensive care package tailored to meet their individual needs, a named nurse and a key worker.

What It's Like to Live Here

We create and help maintain lifestyles that are as similar as possible to those enjoyed at home. We do this by positively encouraging regular interaction between residents and the local community. This includes contact with friends, former neighbours and involvement with local groups.

We encourage participation from families and friends through regular visits, involvement in special days and other events.

There are also an extensive range of activities which individuals can choose to become involved in. These may include gardening, producing life story books and going dancing.

We have a hairdressing salon so residents can have their hair styled on a regular basis. Fortnightly a therapist visits providing manicures and hand and arm massages.

The Willows is located on the outskirts of Chesterfield, which is a busy market town. The home is set in a rural location and is close to local amenities. There is a reliable and frequent bus service from surrounding villages.

Service Facilities

The Willows is a purpose built home set on 2 floors. All areas of the home and gardens are accessible by wheelchair. There is a sensory room for people who have Dementia, providing a pleasant area to sit and unwind.

There is a large conservatory and on warmer days individuals enjoy sitting outside on the paved area in the garden.

The Willows caters for a variety of specialist diets and preferences and fresh fruit, drinks and snacks are always available.
