At The Village we support 38 older people requiring either nursing, palliative and/or personal care. We provide tailored care packages to meet the needs of each individual.

Overview of Service

At The Village we support 38 older people requiring either nursing, palliative and/or personal care. Our dedicated and caring staff team provide 24 hour support in a relaxed and homely atmosphere.

Each person has a comprehensive care package tailored to meet their individual needs, a named nurse and a key worker.

Service Facilities

The home is a modern, purpose built bungalow, and there is full access available for people with physical difficulties or disabilities. We encourage and support individuals to personalise their bedrooms.

What It's Like to Live Here

We create and help maintain lifestyles that are as similar as possible to those enjoyed at home. We do this by positively encouraging regular interaction between residents and the local community. This includes contact with friends, former neighbours and involvement with local groups.

We encourage participation from families and friends through regular visits, involvement in special days and other events.

There are also an extensive range of activities which individuals can choose to become involved in. These may include gardening, producing life story books and going dancing.

We have a hairdressing salon so residents can have their hair styled on a regular basis.
