We believe in a personalised approach and everyone living at the Old Vicarage has their own Person Centred Plan which is reviewed regularly. Our aim is to provide the highest quality support enabling individuals to build on skills, live more independently and reach their goals.

Individual choice is paramount and they are actively encouraged to make informed choices and maintain independence. A key worker is assigned to each resident ensuring a holistic approach to individual care.

We encourage individuals and families to actively participate in the planning of support, which is facilitated through individual/relatives meeting where information is provided.

What it's like to live here

Everyone is given the opportunity to exercise their choice and become involved in a wide range of activities, including accessing local day centres, colleges and work placements within the community. Individuals are also encouraged to access the local leisure facilities including swimming, the cinema and theatre. People are encouraged to pursue and retain their own interests.

The Old Vicarage is a large, detached house situated close to Eastville Park with its picturesque lake and woodland walks. It is only a few minutes walk from local shops, pubs, post office, library and doctors surgery and is well serviced by a bus route to Bristol city centre.

The Old Vicarage's decor is bright and homely and the large gardens offer space for sports and alfresco dining. Individuals are encourage and supported to personalise their bedrooms.
