The Meadows offers nursing, residential and continuing health care for older people with age related illnesses. We provide tailored care packages to meet the needs of each individual.

What It's Like to Live Here

We create and help maintain lifestyles that are as similar as possible to those enjoyed at home. We do this by positively encouraging regular interaction between residents and the local community. This includes contact with friends, former neighbours and involvement with local groups.

We encourage participation from families and friends through regular visits, involvement in special days and other events.

There are also an extensive range of activities which individuals can choose to become involved in. These may include gardening, producing life story books and going dancing.

Every week a hairdresser visits the home so residents can have their hair styled on a regular basis. Fortnightly a therapist visits providing manicures and hand and arm massages.

The Meadows is located in a rural area that is a short distance away from the local town and attractions such as Bradgate Park and Gracedieu. There is a regular local bus service to connecting towns. A post office, a grocery store and a restaurant are within a short walking distance.

Service Facilities

The Meadows is set in well-maintained gardens that include a memory garden for quiet reflection. Garden parties are held in the summer months and a large gazebo is available for residents wishing to enjoy the summer sun.

The chef caters for all dietary requirements and personal preferences and the home produces fresh food that is prepared on site.
