Supporting You In Sefton

Craegmoor has supported living services across England, Wales and Scotland, all providing innovative, creative support which enables people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health problems to live the lives they want and have the opportunities they deserve.
Overview of Service
We are focused on supporting people to be as independent as possible, both within their own home and in their local community. We are registered to support people with learning disabilities and those with Asperger's Syndrome.
We work in partnership with people to ensure they have control over the way their support is provided. We are flexible and person centred in our approach, believing that no two people will have the same support needs, goals or aspirations and knowing therefore that everyone's support will be different. Our focus is on enabling people to achieve their goals and to become more independent.
Our Skills and Expertise
Ensuring we provide quality and innovative practice for the people who choose our services is a top priority. Our highly trained and experienced staff are focused on empowering people to make their own choices in life and are supported by a specialist Quality Development Team. Our Quality Development Advisors who are specialists in their fields, guide strategy at a national level as well as providing support at a local level; ensuring that we provide the right support for people with even the most complex needs.
We are always committed to providing the opportunity to live in good quality accommodation and we are often able to work with local housing providers to assist people in finding a place of their own, either through a private or social landlord or through initiatives such as shared ownership.
The Support we Provide
We are focused on supporting people to be as independent as possible, both within their home and in their local community. Everyone has a person centred support plan which is developed in partnership with them and others who are important to them. This ensures that we support people in the way they want.
Our support packages often include support with things like cooking, making shopping lists, going shopping, household tasks, budgeting, managing money as well as just enjoying being at home. When needed, we also help with practical things like getting washed and dressed.
Out in the community, we support people to do anything they are interested in. This includes assisting with work and college opportunities or helping people to join in local leisure activities such as swimming, going to the library or meeting a friend in a local cafe. We think it's really important that the people we support have the chance to get out and about in their local community, to make and maintain friendships, to see family and to do things they are interested in. In short to have the quality of life we all want for ourselves.
