Once you have produced your Support Plan and had it agreed by the County Council, we can begin to support you in obtaining the services you need to meet the outcomes in your plan.

Overview of Service

We can demonstrate the support you are receiving through your individual person centred plan. Which can include:

  • Living independently.
  • Staying healthy.
  • Having maximum control over your own life.
  • Maintaining your home and family contacts.
  • Participating in your community as an equal citizen.
  • Quality of life irrespective of your illness or disability.
  • Support with social activities and finding employment.
     

Surroundings

The office is located in Chatteris which is easily accessible to all of the Fenland area. It is well equipped for the day to day running of the service and has disability access. Meeting rooms are available offering further privacy. Records and Policies are kept in accordance to the Domiciliary Care standards regulations.

We provide a high standard of staff to people using our services, who are employed only after following a rigorous recruitment procedure. Through the Council's evaluation and monitoring programme, we can demonstrate the ability to sustain high quality services that are safe and reliable.

Service Facilities

As well as all mandatory and NVQ training, we can offer training tailored to an individual's needs. This is then monitored through the supervision and Appraisal process.

We can offer further support in finding accommodation and provide any of the following support:

  • Support hours at home or in the community.
  • A few hours a week to 24 hour care.
  • Sleep night support.
  • Wake night support.
  • Support with tenancy agreements.
  • Maintaining your home, including bill paying, financial budgeting and community activities.
  • Personal care.

A Welcome from the Service Manager

My name is Kerry I am the service manager of Supporting You in Cambridgeshire. This Domiciliary service supports people with learning disabilities and people who may have a range of other needs such as autism, challenging behaviour and physical disabilities. We support people who live in the Cambridgeshire area in their own homes or with live with their families and directly in the community.
