St Mark's Court

St Mark's is a purpose built home and has an excellent reputation within the community. St Mark's provides nursing care for up to 40 older people. The staff at St Mark's are highly committed and dedicated to the care and support of everyone in the home. We are supported by the wider multi disciplinary team of GPs, Chiropodist, Dentists, Dietician and other healthcare professionals. We feel we not only care for individuals but offer a holistic service to families within a homely environment.

What it's like to live here

An Activities Organiser co-ordinates a varied and enjoyable activities programme. There are daily events such as bingo, house quiz, board games; sing a longs, video afternoons and horse riding. Regular outings are had to places of special interest, to enjoy lunch out at a local restaurant, or just for a drive to the Gower Peninsula to take in the breath taking views. There are also regular entertainers who come into the home to sing. St. Marks maintains close links with the local churches and schools and welcomes them regularly to sing or perform small shows.

St Marks Court is part of a small community close to the city centre, yet only ten minutes from the coast, with its beaches and marina area.

Service facilities

The home boasts several large, light well aired sitting rooms where individuals can choose to spend time with their friends and family, as well as two small quiet lounges for those who prefer some peace and quiet during the day. The patio area with its pergola provides a relaxing area in which to sit during the summer. There is one double room which is ideal for couples; many rooms are en-suite.
