Richmond Heights provides nursing, palliative and respite care for older people within a warm and homely environment. Our dedicated and caring staff team provide 24 hour support in a relaxed and homely atmosphere.

Each person has a comprehensive care package tailored to meet their individual needs, a named nurse and a key worker.

What it's Like to Live Here

We create and help maintain lifestyles that are as similar as possible to those enjoyed at home. We do this by positively encouraging regular interaction between residents and the local community. This includes contact with friends, former neighbours and involvement with local groups.

We encourage participation from families and friends through regular visits, involvement in special days and other events. There are also an extensive range of activities which individuals can choose to become involved in. These may include gardening, producing life story books and going dancing.

Every week a hairdresser visits the home so residents can have their hair styled on a regular basis. Fortnightly a therapist visits providing manicures and hand and arm massages.

Surroundings

The home is situated in a popular area of Sheffield, which is close to all major motorways and easily accessible to the city centre. There is access to a local super tram.

Shopping centres are a short distance away by car or bus and there is easy access to the peak district.

Service Facilities

Richmond Heights is purpose built and has 55 bedrooms on 2 floors. There is 1 double room that is ideal for couples. Both floors are accessible by a large passenger lift. There is a comfortable, well-decorated lounge and dining room on each floor.

The home benefits from large, landscaped gardens, which offer a relaxing atmosphere and a quiet retreat. Patio areas are suitable for wheelchair access.
