Progress House

Progress House supports 4 individuals with learning disabilities and Autistic Spectrum Condition. We aim to provide a safe and homely environment, where everyone can make their own choices about the support they receive. We do everything we can to improve the health and wellbeing of the people we support and as a team we are focused on building positive outcomes for everyone.

What It's Like to Live Here

Everyone helps to choose and organise the activities that are on offer at Progress House, both in-house and within the community.

Some individuals enjoy swimming, horse riding, bowling, going to the cinema, socialising in pubs and going shopping. Within the house people get involved with arts and crafts, communication sessions, cooking, relaxation, dancing and gardening.

We support and encourage people to pursue their own interests and to attend college courses.

Surroundings

Progress House is situated in Kilnhurst, which is close to Mexborough, Rotherham and Doncaster, and has easy access to local shops and amenities. The local transport system is easily accessible.

Service Facilities

The service is set in private grounds, with a large parking area on the front of the building and a tastefully presented large garden and patio to the rear of the building.

Everyone has their own single bedroom which they are encouraged and supported to personalise.
