Parkhill House

Parkhill offers a warm and homely environment with opportunities for individuals to extend and enhance the quality of their day to day living.
Overview of service
People have varying levels of learning disabilities and are all supported by experienced staff that ensure their physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs are met. A key philosophy at Parkhill House, is maintaining as much independence as possible and through support, people can achieve their full potential in life.
The support at Parkhill is delivered by a dedicated and professional multi-disciplinary team of staff committed to providing quality support focused on the needs of the individual. The establishment of high ratio staff ensures a highly supportive framework in which people can achieve their potential within a safe environment with dignity and respect. People have an individual support package, specifically planned to reflect their personal needs. Choice is paramount and individuals are actively encouraged to make informed choices and maintain independence. A key worker is assigned to each person ensuring a holistic approach to individual support and daily fulfilment. We encourage those living at Parkhill together with their families to actively participate in the planning of support, which is continually monitored. Standards and values are further promoted by ensuring that individuals are given positive choices. This is facilitated through meetings where information is provided and views and suggestions are listened to and responded in a positive manner.
What it's like to live here

One-to-one support is provided where required and all activities are arranged to meet individual needs. There is ongoing assessment of needs and essential lifestyle plans which are reviewed and monitored each month. Individual's families are invited to come to the house and their support is valued by all at Parkhill.
