Garpel House
Garpel House supports up to eight adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and associated physical or sensory impairments.
Garpel House provides high standards of holistic, person-centred support to enable people to live as independently as possible and to optimize their quality of life.
Everyone we support has their own unique support plan designed to support their personal choices and aspirations and focusing on what is needed to make them happen.

Who we support
- Adults aged 18-65 with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability and complex needs
- People with associated physical disabilities or sensory impairments
Our staff
- Highly experienced, SVQ-qualified staff team and registered Learning Disability nurses
- High staffing ratio, including 24 hour registered nurse support
- Therapeutic input from in-house and visiting therapists
- Close links with local community learning disability team and dietetics services to support special dietary requirements

- Modern purpose built house with 8 en-suite bedrooms, a Jacuzzi bathroom and a quiet room with sensory equipment
- All accommodation on one level and fully wheelchair accessible
- Attractive enclosed gardens
- Short breaks available
Therapies & Activities
- Wide variety of social, educational and leisure activities available in-house and through local day centres and social clubs
- Activities coordinator tailors daily activities to individual interests, abilities and needs

Visiting music therapist provides weekly individual or group sessions
