Eden Court

Eden Court supports 45 people who live with us. We are dual registered for people who may have nursing needs or who may not be able to manage on their own anymore. Staffing is aimed at providing all those who live with us with the maximum support they may need on a daily basis.

Overview of Service

On each shift we have two nurses, seven care staff, a team that works within the kitchen and a team of domestics who also provide laundry services. We offer a full and diverse activity programme, chiropody services, a dentist who visits regularly and our own in house hair dressing service.

What it's like to live here

Eden Court has a full time activities organiser who creates a weekly programme which reflects individual needs. These may consist of days out to local parks and activity centres, to in house entertainment such as pamper days, singers and good old bingo. We also offer a lunch club, in house cinema, indoor gardening and a baking club.The people who live at Eden Court also have access to a large communal lounge, conservatory and a quiet lounge where they can just sit, read and relax.

Surroundings

Eden Court is just off the A58 which affords great bus routes, we are also 3 miles from Junction 27 of the M62 which offers easy access from all major motorway systems, and approximately 10 miles from Leeds/Bradford Airport. There are the major cities of Leeds and Bradford within easy driving distance so if you fancy doing some shopping, good stores are virtually on our doorstep.

Service facilities

Eden Court is surrounded on three sides by a large garden into which have been set patio areas, so that when the weather does get warm and the sun shines individuals can sit outside in a safe and secure area. The gardens have paved walkways so access to those in wheelchairs is easy. The building is split over two floors with lift access to the 1st floor. We have a wet room and several specialist bathrooms with equipment in place that affords everyone the choice of bath or shower.
