What it's like to live here

Individuals' personal care needs are met by their key worker and co-key worker. There is ongoing assessment of needs and essential lifestyle plans are reviewed and monitored each month. Individuals at Drummond House enjoy doing their own shopping, going out for meals, going to the theatre, cinema, bowling and swimming. They are also members of clubs within the local community. People are encouraged to keep their rooms tidy and do their own personal washing. Drummond House promotes individuals rights and each person has access to the local Advocacy Service.

Drummond House offers spacious accommodation comprising of a lounge area with an open plan dining room, kitchen, utility room, bathroom and shower room. All rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished. ndividuals have a single bedroom with private washing facilities. There is also a large conservatory to the front which provides spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. At the rear of the house, next to the sensory garden, is a picnic area.
