Lancaster Lodge provides nursing care for 33 older people within a warm and homely environment. The care and support at Lancaster Lodge is delivered by a dedicated and professional multi-disciplinary team committed to providing quality care.
Overview of service
Each person has an individual care package, specifically planned to reflect their personal needs and choices. A qualified nurse/key worker is assigned to each individual ensuring a holistic approach to individual care and daily fulfilment.
Each member of staff is trained to ensure that personal dignity is maintained at all times. Lancaster Lodge promotes Craegmoor’s’ communication strategy called “Your Voice” which ensures that each individual, based on their preferred method of communication, is able to have a voice on how their supported care is provided. Monthly meetings are held where individuals are able to represent the views and voices of their fellow peers. This is extended to a voice at area, divisional and national level. Lancaster Lodge liaises with families, community organisations, social services departments, and purchasing authorities to support Person Centred Care Planning and ensures full account is taken of social, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs of all individuals. Our in-house chef ensures a choice of menus creating fresh, nutritious, homemade meals catering for all cultural, medical diets and personal preferences.
What it's like to live here
An activities co-ordinator organises a wide range of daily activities both in and out of Lancaster Lodge. Outside entertainers visit on a regular basis. Activities are planned to meet individuals needs but we also respect a person’s need for peace and quiet and choice on how they spend their day.

Lancaster Lodge is situated in Wimbledon near to the prestigious Wimbledon village and the All England Lawn Tennis Club with easy access to local shops and amenities.
Service facilities
Lancaster Lodge has been tastefully decorated throughout with individual décor in each bedroom to meet the requirements and needs of each person. There are 25 en-suite bedrooms accommodating 33 individuals. The home has a large lounge area and a tranquil, secluded garden which offers a relaxing atmosphere and a quiet retreat. Our aim is to achieve a comfortable, warm and safe environment to provide a feeling of security, enhancing a persons quality of life. Individuals are welcome to bring in personal items and small pieces of furniture to personalise their own room.
