What it's like to live here

We have an activity programme that includes seasonal items including fates, parties and special days. There are also daily activities to join in or ad-hoc game of cards or scrabble. We have entertainers who visit the home including signers and the “Memory Man” who brings items for people to play with from yesteryear.

We have a beautiful garden area for people to sit in and take in the tranquil wooded surroundings We have an Activities Co-ordinator who organises a wide range of daily activities both in and out of the Home. Outside entertainers visit the Home on regular basis. Our own transport is used for visits to local places of interest and for hospital appointments as required. Activities are planned to meet the residents’ needs but we also respect a person’s need for peace and quiet and choice on how they spend their day.
