The ordinary story of Gerald's new lease of life

When Gerald moved to Lickey Hills he was depressed, withdrawn and lacking in self-confidence. Suddenly he got a new lease of life when asked to be a ‘Your Voice’ representative for his area.

He immediately felt empowered and with a purpose. Gerald now loves to talk to people from services throughout his area and really takes matters to heart.

He is now the national representative for older people and reports back all of his findings to the Group Executive. As part of ‘Your Voice’ he recently went to an awards ceremony in London. He has a brilliant life and is very happy.
