Myleene hosts Nas fundraiser

05 April 2007

Former Hear'Say member turned television presenter Myleene Klass has confirmed that she will host the Bank Holiday fundraiser for the National Autistic Society (Nas) and the Attention Deficit Disorder Information and Support Service in the Royal Albert Hall on May 6th.

Night of a 1,000 Voices has been raising money for charities since 1999. Originally, the cast included a thousand members of Noda who sang show tunes to raise money for good causes, but the last few years have seen a large number of celebrity singers taking part too.

This year, the I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! star will present an evening filled with Broadway and West End stars, who will perform all of the best well-loved show tunes from musicals like Chicago, Jesus Christ Superstar and West Side Story.

Broadway and West End stars for 2007's Night of 1,000 Voices include the original Roxie in the current revival of Chicago, Ruthie Henshall, Gavin Creel and Scarlett Strallen from Mary Poppins and the entire cast from Avenue Q.

Tickets cost between £17.50 and £60 and those thinking of going are advised to book them quickly as they are reportedly selling out fast.
