About Woodthorpe Lodge

Woodthorpe Lodge provides rehabilitation and support for adults with mental health problems. Some of the people we support may also present complex conditions or have behaviours that challenge. Respite and community outreach transitional services are also available.

Our approach to care:

The service offers 24/7 specialist residential support and is committed to providing just enough support to empower and encourage individuals to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible and achieve positive outcomes for all. The service is also supported by a quality assurance team including a specialist Mental Health Advisor whose aim is to empower individuals to take control of their lives and, where possible, work towards a level of independence which fits with their skills, confidence and aspirations.

What it’s like to live here:

The people that we support are encouraged through their Person Centred Plans to achieve their goals and aspirations. For some people this means attending college to access various courses, including cooking, art and daily living skills. For others it means work placements and other day opportunities in line with their goals. Those living at Woodthorpe Lodge are able to share their own views through Craegmoor's "Your Voice" feedback initiative.

Woodthorpe Lodge is situated in Woodthorpe, Chesterfield and has easy access to local shops and amenities.

“I like my home, I like baking, going to college and going on holiday.” – Person supported by Craegmoor
