About The Old Vicarage
The Old Vicarage supports adults with learning disabilities. The dedicated and professional team at our home are committed to providing quality support focused on the needs of the individual.
Our approach to support:
We believe in a personalised approach and everyone living at the Old Vicarage has their own Person Centred Plan which is reviewed regularly. Our aim is to provide the highest quality support enabling individuals to build on skills, live more independently and to reach their goals.
A key worker is assigned to each person ensuring a holistic approach to individual care, however we believe that individual choice is paramount and each person is actively encouraged to make informed choices and maintain independence. We also encourage individuals and families to actively participate in the planning of support.
What it’s like to live here:
Every person at The Old Vicarage is given the opportunity to exercise their choice and become involved in a wide range of activities, including accessing local day centres, colleges and work placements within the community.
Individuals are also encouraged to access the local leisure facilities including swimming, the cinema and theatre. We believe it is important for individuals to pursue and retain their own interests.
We are situated close to Eastville Park with its picturesque lake and woodland walks, and only a few minutes away by foot from local shops, pubs, a post office, library and doctors surgery. Our location is well serviced by a bus route to Bristol city centre.
