Hamilton House

About Hamilton House

At Hamilton House we provide dedicated specialist support for people with mental health problems, alongside autism and learning disabilities. We are passionate about, and committed to empowering individuals to become more independent in everyday life.

Hamilton House is a large, friendly and welcoming home where we recognise the importance of choice and help people to improve communication and daily living skills focusing on building positive outcomes for everyone.

Our approach to support:

The people we support at Hamilton House have a Person Centred Plan which shapes the level of assistance provided; these are created on an individual basis with input from the individual, their family and their key worker.

Monthly meetings also take place to gain continued understanding of each individual's preferences, and to also provide feedback on the direction in which they see Hamilton House heading.

What it’s like to live here:

Hamilton House empowers individuals to make choices by setting goals and working towards positive outcomes. Each person centred plan is regularly reviewed to ensure that everyone’s personal objectives are being met - with focus on promoting independence and encouraging participation in paid employment, local volunteering opportunities and community groups.

Hamilton House is situated within a pleasant rural community in the Worcestershire countryside. Local amenities include a shop, post office and pub as well as access to local farms and small holdings, which we proactively encourage people to help out and work on.

With good access to Worcester and Hereford town centres, Hamilton House also provides transport to local activities including the swimming pool, cinema, theatres, bowling alley, colleges and work based courses - all just a few miles away.

“With support from staff at Hamilton House, J.S. can now enjoy walking outdoors.” – Family member of person supported by Hamilton House

Hamilton House caters for up to six people; five beds are in the main house and each room has an en-suite wet room. There is also a single service self contained flat, with fully fitted kitchen, lounge/dining room and large upstairs bedroom with large en-suite wet room.

The large communal lounge has a double aspect and there is a delightful rear courtyard garden. The kitchen is also large with granite worktops and a range cooker. Our dining room has patio doors leading to the extensive front garden, mainly laid to lawn with two patio areas and pergola. At the bottom of the garden there is a vegetable area with raised beds.

There is also large car park and extended driveway leading to the house which is accessed by secure electric wooden gates.
