Enfield Supported Living

About Enfield Supported Living

Enfield Supported Living provides assessment and support for adults with enduring, medium levels of mental health problems, complex needs, communication difficulties and behaviours that challenge. Enfield Supported Living provides supported facilities in flats and housing projects throughout the area.

Individuals are encouraged to create Person Centred Plans to help them achieve their goals and aspirations with help from the specialist support team available to them. For some people this means attending college to access various courses including cooking, art and daily living skills. For others it means work placements and other day opportunities in line with their goals.

Each person will have access to one-to-one pyschological support where required, as well as support with accessing benefits and assistance with money management to achieve economic well-being

Our approach to support:

Enfield Supported Living offers daily specialist support and is committed to empowering and encouraging individuals to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible and achieve positive outcomes for all.

The service is also supported by a quality assurance team including a specialist Mental Health Advisor whose aim is to empower individuals to take control of their lives, and where possible, work towards a level of independence which fits with their skills, confidence and aspirations.

“This is one of the best supported living services I’ve lived at.” – Person assisted by Enfield Supported Living

Service provision

As one of the largest Craegmoor services, Enfield Supported Living provides apartments spread over three separate blocks of flats to accomodate up to forty six individuals, plus nineteen additional places within three shared housing projects. Each person staying with Enfield Supported Living has their own room, many en-suite.

There is specialist support available for people with mental health difficulties who may present mild to moderate/severe challenging behaviour, and innovative person centred support programs in a safe and caring environment. Individuals can have their own views heard through Craegmoor's "Your Voice" feedback initiative.

The service also provides a 24/7 on-call emergency service.
