About Beach House

Beach House is a specialised service for people with learning disabilities and complex needs. Situated alongside Alexandra Park in Parkstone, Poole, it is well suited for people of all ages. Open since 2008, Beach House is a modern, detached home, providing 24 hour care and support for up to 9 people.

Our approach to support:

The service offers 24/7 specialist residential support and is committed to providing just enough support to empower and encourage individuals to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible, working towards a level of independence which is consummate with their skills, confidence and aspirations.

What it’s like to live here:

Beach House is situated between the Branksome and Parkstone areas of Poole with a wide choice of amenities, with both Poole and Bournemouth town centres lying in close proximity to the service.

The home has large bedrooms with excellent communal facilities. We encourage the people we support to personalise their rooms to their own taste as well as to take an active role in the running of the service.

There is also a pool room, DVD and Wii gaming room, large kitchen, and a utility room which provides laundry facilities.

The service benefits from a large conservatory, and a rear garden opening. The large garden features a summer house and patio area which proves a popular area during the summer months when barbeques take place.
