Living at Alphonsus House

Alphonsus House is situated in the heart of the beautiful town of Oldbury and is close to local amenities, yet in easy reach to major bus routes and motorways, making it accessible to larger towns and cities.

Set over four separate properties, each room has been designed with the resident in mind, for example, the kitchen in the bungalow has been adapted for wheelchair users.

We also provide opportunities for residents to participate in a wide variety of community based activities including college courses, employment and social interests.

“Staff help me, I am more independent now, like I was before.” – Person supported by Alphonsus House

Alphonsus House is split into three houses and a bungalow, each offering a warm and friendly environment with the opportunity for the people that live here to enhance their quality of life. In line with this, all individuals are encouraged and supported to personalise their bedroom to make their space their own.

A total of nine bedrooms are situated on the ground floor of each of the houses, which enables wheelchair users to independently navigate and access their residence where applicable. Nine of our bedrooms offer en-suite facilities.

Each of the three houses also have a fully equipped kitchen and the shared use of laundry facilities.
