At 81, Beatrice is the life and soul of her home. A popular resident and in full time care since February 2004, she suffers from short-term memory loss and has developed the early stages of dementia.
A keen knitter of many years, Beatrice is part of a knitting club who are busy making blankets to send to a charitable cause. Once a week she visits her local church where she helps during the service.
Never short of a story or two, Beatrice spends a lot of time with family and friends who visit her on a daily basis. Once a Financial Accountant at Dunlop, her caring nature was evident when on her friend’s death, she adopted her children and raised them herself. They’re a very close family.
