The Ordinary Story of Roger's Incredible Triple Gold Medal Win

When Roger moved to a Craegmoor service, staff encouraged him to do something that he really loved and to set goals. He decided that cycling was something that he would like to do so for the last two years, with Craegmoor's support and reassurance, he has trained every Thursday at the Norfolk Showground in Norwich.

Roger's hard work and dedication certainly paid off recently when he won three gold medals in cycling at the Special Olympics National Summer Games in Leicester. The 52 year old, cycling as part of the delegation representing the East of England, won gold in the 5km Road Race, the 5km Time Trial and the 1500m Time Trial during the 7-day long Games.

Since his success, Roger has become somewhat of a local celebrity - even appearing on ITV's Anglia Tonight. He is now more passionate than ever about cycling and hopes to win even more medals next year.
