Leading Lights not only recognises our very best services, but also acknowledges the team effort that goes in to providing the best of the best. An incredible amount of energy goes in to providing an exceptional service, and all everyone plays their part in the success. It is the contribution that every member of staff brings to their service that makes a Leading Light.

Our Leading Lights are selected from every area of our business, recognising the many excellent services across the different types of care and support we provide. In selecting Leading Lights, we look for positive outcomes for the people who use our services. We want to see staff and the people we support working together to achieve these outcomes, as well as services dedicated to and centred on the people using them. We also look at staff morale, for professionalism, innovation, energy, fun and - in short - magic! There are many great services in Craegmoor but the Leading Light will have that special 'magic factor'.

From the Area Winners, our Managing Directors choose their Divisional Winners, and from these four exceptional services, our Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer select Craegmoor's overall Leading Light. This will be our outstanding service that leads the way in terms of provision of care and support, and is a great place to live and work.

In celebrating their achievements with a local event, our Area Leading Lights share their success with the people who use our services, their family and friends, and the local community. All Area Winners are also invited to the Pride of Craegmoor Awards to receive the recognition for their achievements, and discover who will be our Divisional Winners and Overall Leading Light. This is their time in the spotlight, and their chance to dazzle.
