Prom Is A Night To Remember For People Of Luton

People from across Luton donned their glad rags for a local Craegmoor prom night, which was held at the High Town Working Men's Club on Thursday 25th November.

The special prom was held for Craegmoor staff and the people they support across Luton. Craegmoor is the leading independent provider for people with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and mental illnesses, and supports around 4,000 people across the UK.

Amanda Middleton, Manager of Craegmoor's Rose Court service in Luton helped organise the prom, which featured live music, a DJ, competitions and lots of dancing.

People at Rose Court have been preparing for the celebration for months, and received lots of help along the way from local businesses which donated raffle prizes, food, refreshments and even a VIP red carpet.

The party was hugely well attended, with local people and neighbours of Rose Court joining the celebrations. The evening was such a success that everyone agreed they could have danced all night!

Amanda Middleton said:

"Everyone at Rose Court has been so excited about the prom and we've been counting down the days to when we put our dancing shoes on!

"At Craegmoor, we're passionate about working with the community and events like this are a fantastic way to celebrate and get to know our neighbours. We'd all like to say a big thank you to the local businesses that gave such generous donations and helped make the evening such a success."
