Local Service Goes From Strength To Strength And Brings New Jobs To Trowbridge
The Old Rectory, which provides support for people with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and mental illnesses, is opening an additional service on Park Street in Trowbridge that will provide more support for people in the South West and create new jobs in the local area. The Old Rectory is owned and operated by leading independent provider Craegmoor, who support around 4,000 people.
23 November 2010
The new Park Street service, which has been commissioned in response to local demand, will be managed by existing staff from the Old Rectory to ensure the same high standards. In the coming months the new service will also be taking on new staff and creating jobs for local people.
Situated near the centre of town, the people supported by Park Street will be at the heart of the community and will be encouraged to take part in local activities such as the Best Kept Garden and Best Kept Street competitions, and delivering newsletters for the Newton Area Residents Association.
The new service has been designed with state-of-the-art facilities to provide a living environment that is not only homely and welcoming but that encourages independence and empowerment. As with all Craegmoor services, the staff at Park Street are highly trained to create a positive environment that will enable everyone supported there to lead fulfilling and purposeful lives.
