Craegmoor Announces Appointment Of New Director Of Education

 

Craegmoor, the leading independent provider of support for people with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and mental illnesses, is delighted to announce the appointment of Deborah Cooper as Director of Education.

Deborah's remit will include:

• Further developing our expertise in education and support for the people who use Craegmoor's Independent Specialist Colleges.

• Providing access to employment for people with disabilities

• Working towards building a national platform to share good practice in education and training provision

• Providing an educational vision and direction which leads to effective teaching and successful achievements by learners

Deborah, who was previously Manager at Libraries, Learning and Heritage at Milton Keynes Council and Director of Skill at the National Bureau of Students with Disabilities, said of her appointment:

"This is a fantastic opportunity to develop the wonderful education services that Craegmoor has in place. I am passionate about education and excited at the prospect of being able to improve access to education, training and employment for people with disabilities. Quality is at the centre of everything we do, to ensure the best possible outcomes for learners."
