Craegmoor Announces Acquisition of Burnside Care

 

Craegmoor, the leading independent provider of support for people with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and mental health problems, as well as older people, is delighted to announce that it has purchased Burnside Care which operates a hospital in Market Weighton.

This dedicated hospital for people with learning disabilities focuses on supporting individuals to move towards living a more independent and fulfilled life.

Craegmoor, which already supports around 4,000 people across the UK, has acquired Burnside Care in order to increase the high quality service provision for people in East Riding of Yorkshire. Located in the picturesque town of Market Weighton, the hospital was purpose built in 2007 utilising state-of-the-art design to deliver the highest standards of support. The hospital has a strong reputation and will provide the perfect addition to the Craegmoor family, enabling Craegmoor to continue to focus on providing quality person-centred support for people with learning disabilities.
