City and Guilds Award Success For Herefordshire Man
Harold Locke, a Herefordshire man with learning disabilities, has been awarded a City & Guilds Environmental Studies Award.

Harold who lives at Castle Farm, a service run by Craegmoor – who support over 4,000 people with learning disabilities, complex needs and mental illnesses, as well as older people, across the UK – supported Harold to attend classes at the local Madley Environmental Study Centre (MESC).
A lover of the great outdoors, Harold wanted to learn more about horticulture and has been able to access educational opportunities with Craegmoor’s support.
He has been helping out at the nature reserve every Thursday since 2003. Most recently, Harold’s work has included the construction a new shelter to protect a tractor.

“It’s fantastic that Harold has achieved this award and we are thrilled for him. He has worked incredibly hard to achieve his goal and we are delighted that we have been able to support him.”
