Specific Duties Include:

• Provides support and encouragement to Service Users in all areas / activities of daily living.

• Ensures the respect, dignity and rights to privacy of service users as far as possible.

• Contributes to the assessment of Service User’s needs and the development of individualized plans of care and support in consultation with Service Users, their relatives and the Care Team.

• Works with the care and support team to deliver high standards of service to achieve planned goals. These duties are not exhaustive. Job holders may be asked to undertake other responsibilities, within their spheres of responsibility and competence.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Minimum NVQ level 2 in Care or equivalent care qualification or willing to work towards.

• Experience in a care / support or service related setting preferred.

Salary/Hourly Rate

£6.02 Per Hour

Our service specialises in supporting adults with learning disabilities and mild challenging behaviour. This includes Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Dementia. We support 12 people and are able to provide one to one support where required. We have been rated by the CQC as 3 stars, excellent.
